Attorney Michael Bomberger

Nearing 30 years of work with the firm he founded, Estey & Bomberger, Michael works with clients who have been harmed or injured themselves, or via damage to their property, exclusively – never for corporations or insurance companies.  In cases involving catastrophic damage to one’s body or home, there is no better advocate than Michael.

Sometimes, Michael’s cases are complicated.  His longest-running case, during which he worked for five years on behalf of his clients until the defendant in question agreed, resulted in the company paying $21 million to his clients for the harm its product caused.  Most cases don’t take five years, of course, but Michael is relentless and passionate throughout, and never stops working for the best interests of his clients.  He’s been referred to as a dog on a bone, and he’s the exact attorney an injured party would want to have in his or her corner.

$21 million is not a unique number in Michael’s world; Michael’s clients and their families have earned settlements or verdicts in that same range, consistently, and several of them are record-setting in their category.  Additional recent examples include $20 million, $18 million, $17.5 million, $14 million. $13.8 million, $13 million, $8 million and more.

Michael’s strength is his value for respect, integrity and honesty, and teamwork.  His ties with his wife, their four children and the local schools and community allow him to identify strongly with families, and to make sure they get what they deserve.  As a longtime competitive cyclist and college wrestler, Michael values perseverance and is committed to going the distance in his work as well, which has proven itself time and time again in the successes he has achieved on behalf of clients.

Michael earned his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, with a major in English and Economics, and his law degree from California Western School of Law.  He was admitted to California’s State Bar in 1994, and is also admitted to practice in the State of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Court – Southern District of California.  Michael enjoys membership in San Diego County Bar Association, American Association for Justice and American Bar Association, as well as Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the National Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, the Better Business Bureau, National Trial Lawyers ‘Top 100’, The Verdict Club, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
